Ron Kidd has had a prolific and multi-faceted career as a theater professional since leaving a teaching stint in Schenectady for NYC in 1983.
In film, actor credits include Burn After Reading, Good Sharma and Ridley Scott's Someone to Watch Over Me. His numerous TV appearances include Law & Order SVU, 30 Rock and Late Night with Conan O'Brien, as well as recurring roles in popular daytime television dramas.
On Broadway, he appeared in The Will Rogers Follies,
and has performed with several 1st National Tour companies as
actor, stage manager, and company tutor
for those shows with children.
Off-Broadway, he logged several years in the original Sullivan Street Playhouse production of The Fantasticks (the longest-running musical in the history of the American theater).
In recent years, bookings have included
voiceover and commercial print work, as
well as regional theatre roles in eight states.
Employing his improvisational talent and eerie resemblance to former Vice President Dick Cheney, Ron has performed with political comedy groups like “The Turn Left Players" and "The Billionaires For Bush.”
The “change” of administration, meant a new
look for Ron, and a renewed enthusiasm for projects ahead.
